What we do

As a Design Consultancy, we will supply a bespoke, professional, creative and independent Design & Management service that provides expertise, foodservice knowledge and experience to the Foodservice & Hospitality industry across multiple sectors including Hotels & Restaurants, Visitor Centres, Healthcare, Business & Industry, Education and Retail.

 

Our primary focus is the welfare of the client organisation and ensuring schemes are successful from concept to completion. We are able to develop and re-engineer client’s concepts into workable foodservice operations.

 

By using design, trend awareness and regulation expertise to the implementation of foodservice facilities we aim to provide an improved operational performance that achieves the desired business goals. By incorporating both creative and technical abilities throughout the project evolution process we produce a full-range of design criteria; including but not restricted to Layouts, Elevations, Sections, Budget Costs, Services Schedules, Equipment Specifications, Tender Reviews and Installation Co-ordination.

 

We work closely with the clients and professional design teams, including Architects, MEP Consultants, Project Managers and Structural Consultants to ensure that the designs are fully co-ordinated with all of the building’s requirements and restrictions. Furthermore, working closely with Interior Designers we are able to develop successful schemes with input on styles, furniture, colours and finishes being chosen to suit the environment they are in.

JoH Design follow the current RIBA Plan of Work to carry out the project design works:

  • Stage 0 & 1        Strategy, Brief and Feasibility

  • Stage 2              Concept Design

  • Stage 3              Developed Design

  • Stage 4              Technical Design, Tender & Procurement

  • Stage 5              Construction, Contract Supervision & Drawing Approval

  • Stage 6              Installation, Testing & Commissioning
