JoH Design is a Design Consultancy company established in 2009. We provide a bespoke professional creative and independent Design & Project Management service, covering the Foodservice Industry in all sectors.
We are an independent consultancy and are not associated or affiliated to any supplier or contractor. Our earnings are fee-based as we do not receive financial remuneration from catering service providers, equipment suppliers or manufacturers. We are therefore truly unbiased in our approach and via the competitive tendering and quotation process, are able to secure for our clients the right equipment at the best possible price from bidding contractors.
Jo Headland BA (Hons) MSc

Jo graduated in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree in Commercial Interior Design and more recently in 2012 graduated with an MSc in International Hospitality Design & Management Consultancy. Now with over fifteen years’ experience in the Foodservice Consultancy Industry, Jo has been fortunate to work on projects both throughout the United Kingdom and internationally, from Concept to Completion.
Jo is an enthusiastic, talented, fresh-thinking, hard-working professional who is conscientious throughout and able to develop and re-engineer client’s concepts into a workable foodservice operation. By using design, trend awareness and regulation expertise the implementation of foodservice facilities provides an improved operational performance and achieves the desired business goals. Jo’s primary focus is the welfare of the client organisation and ensuring schemes are successful from concept to completion by incorporating both creative and technical abilities to develop, produce and co-ordinate a full-range of design criteria.

JoH Design are proud to be a founding member of the Independent Foodservice & Hospitality Consultants (IFHC).
IFHC is a consortium of professional foodservice consultants, with the primary aim to promote the use of professional, independent design and management consultants in all aspects of the foodservice and hospitality industry. IFHC provides a forum for professional consultants to liaise with other industry bodies in the development and promotion of standards, guidelines, specifications and legislation relating to the design, implementation and operation of foodservice and hospitality establishments. IFHC does not accept sponsorship from any manufacturer, contractor or supplier in the running of the organisation and all members observe to a Code of Conduct.
Additionally, JoH Design is a Professional Member of the Foodservice Consultants Society International (FCSI) UK & Ireland.
